Hi, welcome to my page. I am Irma Gineikiene, artist, book designer and educator. I live live in Dunduliai village and work as a deputy head teacher at the School of Arts in Zarasai, Lithuania. (Zarasai is a beautiful little town surrounded by lakes, it is in the part of the world where my favourite painters M.Rothko and M.Chagall were born).
Until December 2021 I was an art and creative media lecturer at Solent University, Southampton, UK.
Before that I have lived in Vilnius, Exeter and New York, studied photography and media arts, I've worked in advertising and publishing, designed books and magazines (National Geographic LT).
However, painting is what I love the most. It makes me feel alive. Often that is my main topic, message and the question - dead or alive?
Please scroll down to see some examples of my watercolours and sketches. To see more of my various work - please visit portfolio page.
Some of my original watercolours, textile work and prints are for sale. For more info - please contact me using the form below.
I'd be very happy to hear from you.
